Our quotes will also include an estimated itinerary with ETAs so you can know what to expect once an option is selected.

Once an option is selected, the Revolution X team will work with the air carrier to secure the option and revert with an itinerary, including expedited milestones. Air Charter - Jet

Jet aircraft are the quickest but most expensive way to move freight. Jets require runway length of at least 5,500 feet. Jets can normally carry large freight long distances.

Air Charter - Turboprop

~$12,000 ~$20,000+

Turboprop aircraft are the second most expensive way to move freight. Turboprop aircraft are normally more limited by range, speed and payload but are less expensive to operate than a jet.

Air Charter - Piston

~$8,000 ~$12,000+

Piston aircraft are the least expensive mode of aircraft charter. They are limited by range, payload and weather but are generally much less expensive than jet and turboprop aircraft.

Hand Carry

~$3,500 ~$5,000+

Hand Carry, also sometimes referred to as OBC (On Board Courier) involves a courier bringing the freight on board a scheduled aircraft either in the overhead bin or as checked luggage. Hand Carries are much less expensive than charters, but are limited to airline schedules.

NFO

Revolution X is not currently offering NFO services or counter to counter service.

Ground Expedite

When the situation requires a dedicated vehicle to deliver point to point, but doesn’t need an airplane, ground expedite is the next fastest option.

Scenario

The Truck Intercept

Freight was on a truck in north Texas when, suddenly, a manufacturer in Ohio realized they needed it ASAP. The team at Revolution X sprung into action to coordinate with the trucking company, air carrier, airport and customer to divert the truck to an airport capable of handling both the truck and aircraft. An aircraft was airborne within the hour and the freight arrived in Ohio later that day – in time to avert an assembly line shutdown.

OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS:

Small airports are not designed to be used as an on demand truck sorting facility. Manpower and Equipment needed to be verified.
The Revolution X team needed to find the airport closest to the truck.
Weather needed to be verified to ensure the freight would be protected while the truck was being sorted.

Scenario

The Gateway Airport Transfer

Urgent automotive parts were inbound to Chicago O’hare on a flight from Asia when a manufacturer in South Carolina realized trucking the freight from Chicago would not meet their deadline. Revolution X coordinated with the customer, airline and ground transport provider to recover the freight and truck it to an airport more suitable for charter. The freight was loaded onto a Falcon 20 jet and in South Carolina a few hours later.

OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS:

The Revolution X team needed to coordinate with the airline to ensure the freight would be released on time.
The aircraft needed to be positioned at the correct time, accounting for release of the freight and drive time to the airport used for the charter.

Scenario

The Missed Shipment

Critical components for a manufacturer in Nebraska were meant to fly on scheduled airline service out of south Texas. Due to delays at the border, the shipment missed the scheduled flight and the customer needed a way to transport the material to Nebraska for first shift production. Revolution X arranged for a small Cessna to fly through the night to deliver the freight to the customer early the following morning.

OPERATIONAL CONSTRAINTS:

After hours services needed to be coordinated with the airport.
Smaller aircraft are more weather constrained. This needed to be accounted for when quoting a Cessna.
